Calvary Baptist Church is a Bible-believing, Soul-winning, Fundamental, Indepedant, Baptist Church. Our ministries include Street Preaching, door-to-door visitation, 3 nursing home ministries, military visitation, Word of Life missions, and the Beaufort Bible Institute.
ABOUT OUR PASTOR
Bro. Karl Baker has been our Pastor for over 30 years. He not only stands uncompromisingly for the King James Bible, but he places an emphasis on living a practical Christianity. It is his firm conviction that Christians should not only stand for the word of God, but they should live according to the word of God. Bro. Baker has stood firm for his beliefs even to the point of incarceration. Bro. Baker has not only been a faithful Pastor but he is also Founder and President of the Beaufort Bible Institue. Due to his experience and faithfulness to the truth, Bro. Baker has been an inspirition to many men in the ministry all over the world and continues to be used of God in this capacity unto this day.
ABOUT THE BEAUFORT BIBLE INSTITUTE
Our Bible Institute has produced over 40 graduates since it's inception over 20 years ago. Of the over 40 graduates, this local church ministry has produced several Pastors, Missionaries, Street Preachers, and other full time workers in the ministry today. BBI offers a 3 year curriculum resulting in either a Bachelor of Divinity degree or a certificate of Completion in Bible Education. The courses offered include verse-by-verse instruction in many books of the Bible, Manuscript Evidence, Theology, Basic and Advanced Greek, Church History, Study of Cults & Heresies, Old & New Testament Survey, and many other subjects.
